Rebbe Steiner Sajele of Kerestir studied in Liska at the home of Reb Hershele Friedmann, where he immersed himself in profound Torah knowledge and wisdom. This learning was the foundation for his impactful journey in community service.

During Reb Hershele Friedman's era, Liska (Olaszliszka) emerged as a spiritual hub of Hasidism, attracting thousands of visitors.

The rich tradition of Moshe Teitelbaum.

Hershele's initial knowledge was acquired by Yismach Moshe, who was the Rebbe of Ujhely (Sátoraljaújhely).  Teitelbaum nominated Hershele as his successor, whose wisdom travels the world every day.
